   Hello, my name is Tatiana.I am writing because I would like to become more involved in the church, especially in prayer and fasting worship nights, if possible. Although I attend Sunday services, I have never been very connected or actively involved in the church. I am naturally a shy person, and because English is not my first language, it has sometimes been difficult for me to feel confident reaching out or participating more.
   At this moment in my life, I am going through a very difficult personal situation, and I truly feel that I need spiritual support now more than ever. I have a strong desire to reconnect, grow spiritually, and be surrounded by prayer and fellowship. I would really appreciate any guidance on how I can begin to get more involved, particularly in prayer and fasting gatherings, or any other opportunities for spiritual support.
   Thank you so much for your time, understanding, and prayers.

     Hey Tatiana,

     Thank you for your comments and questions.

     Let me encourage you to join us at our Prayer and Fasting nights. That is the best participation/involvement you can bring for sure! And though there will be moments of corporate prayer for people, those moments will be carried out generally by our current prayer and pastoral team who have been trained for these ministry times. That said, if you have interest in joining a ministry team like prayer, please fill in one of our serve applications and we can go from there. Hope that helps!

     As for the season you are walking through, we will definitely be praying for you! Let me encourage you to connect with one of our Pastors to so we can come alongside with you and help in whatever way we can. As a guideline, we encourage women to connect with one of Pastor Christine or Pastor Carrie. That said, if they are unavailable I can be met here at the church during the day to meet.

     I’d also encourage you to consider joining a life group. Thats a great way for the body of Christ to be what its been designed to be and cafe for one another. Pastor Carrie oversees our life groups and can give you direction on whats currently running.

   I would like to get more information about the fasting process. Can I get an explanation of how the fasting works?

     Thanks for the Question. If you head to the Fasting & Prayer Page under the Events Tab on the Cambridge Site, you will see more information on how fasting works etc. as you scroll down on the page.
